The Hot Pepper Lady

It's all about the heat!

My Story

Hey there, I’m Lina — grower, maker, hot sauce shaker. I’m the woman behind The Hot Pepper Lady, where everything starts in the soil and ends up in a bottle full of flavor.

This all kicked off from a deep love of gardening, cooking, and feeding people food that hits different. I grow peppers like they’re my babies, always experimenting with varieties from around the world. Next thing you know, I’m fermenting pineapple with Carolina Reapers, blending Birdseye peppers into curry sauces, and giving folks a taste of real Ghanaian Jollof.

My sauces tell stories. Stories of where I come from, where I’ve been, and all the flavors I’ve fallen in love with. And behind it all is the joy of farming. I grow food that means something. Food with roots. From seeds to seedlings, to full-blown flavor bombs, I bring it all to the table.

My Mission

I’m here to grow spice with purpose and cook with love. Every single pepper I use is either grown by me or sourced from folks who care about the land as much as I do.

This isn’t just about heat. It’s about heart. I’m on a mission to get real flavors back into our kitchens. Whether it's a smoky jerk rub, a tangy jam with a kick, or a sauce that sneaks up on you, I want each bite to mean something.

My stuff is handcrafted, seasonal, and full of intention. No shortcuts, no junk. Just bold flavor, fresh ingredients, and a little bit of magic in every jar.

My Vision

I dream of a world where food brings us closer. Where people know their farmers and their hot sauce has a story. Where small-batch makers get the shine they deserve and culturally rich flavors are front and center.

The Hot Pepper Lady is about more than sauce. It’s about connection. It’s about celebrating the beauty of where we come from and what we grow. I want to keep building a space where people can taste something real, something bold, something with soul.

And let’s be honest, life’s just better when it’s a little spicy.
